This really doesn't have anything to do with iLife but I couldn't post it elsewhere.

Recently I changed from the 32-bit version of Handbrake to the 64-bit version. I also upgraded VLC to the 64-bit version. For some reason I seem to be experiencing a lot of software crashes. This rarely, if ever, happened in the past.

Have any other users of Handbrake experienced similar behavior?
